The Art Sutra app
Know the moment your art moves
Add The Art Sutra to your home screen in three taps. It opens like an app, and your phone tells you when an order ships, a painting progresses or a sale lands.
Free. No app store, nothing to download. The same account you already use.

Why install it
Stop checking. We tell you.
Buying art means waiting — for an artist to confirm, a painting to dry, a courier to collect. The app turns each wait into a note on your lock screen, the moment something changes. Nothing promotional: only your own orders, requests and sales.

Coming to the stores
Android and iPhone apps are on their way to Google Play and the App Store.
They use the same account, so everything you do here carries over.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Installing The Art Sutra and turning on notifications cost nothing.
Do I need a new account?
No. The app is theartsutra.com itself, so you sign in with the same email and password or Google account, and see the same orders, requests and wallet.
Why does iPhone need “Add to Home Screen” for notifications?
Apple lets a website send notifications only once it has been added to the Home Screen, on iOS 16.4 or newer. Add it with the steps above, open it from your Home Screen, and turn notifications on there.
How do I turn notifications off?
Open this page or your account in the app and tap Turn off, or switch them off for Art Sutra in your phone's notification settings. Your emails and the bell on the site carry on either way.
Will there be an app in Google Play and the App Store?
Yes, the Android and iPhone apps are on their way. They use the same account, so nothing you do here needs moving later.
Does it work without the internet?
It opens and tells you when you are offline. Prices, holds and orders always come live from the site, so they need a connection.
What do you keep for notifications?
Only the private address your browser creates for them, sent through your phone's own notification service and encrypted end to end. Turning notifications off deletes it.
